Indoor Fun Fly, AMA Sanction 10-0084, will be held over the entire weekend with events being scheduled from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM on Saturday and finals from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM on Sunday with awards handed out at 2:00 PM on Sunday. There will be monitored open flying over the entire weekend with frequency control. This is an AMA Sanctioned event, AMA membership is a prerequisite (you can sign up at the event), and there will be a model safety inspection and flight certification required. Some of the Fun Fly events planned so far include: One Design Combat & One Design Pylon Race (see http://www.flyifo.com/index.html for model selection), Limbo, 60 second Take-Off Loop and Land, Wall hangar, Free Style with Music, and others still being certified and dreamed up by our sadistic Fun Fly team. IF you have a favorite Fun Fly event please let us know and we will try and schedule it BECAUSE!!!...There Will Be PRIZE MONEY for High Point Fun Fly Champ!!! YES!!.. That’s Right!! Individual event points for final tally are 4 for first, 3 for second, 2 for third and one point for participating… SO, let’s say we have 14 categories at the Fun Fly and you compete in 11 of them… Even if you don’t place high in the finalists you will still have 11 points towards the High Points Prize!! Which by the way, The High Points Prize will be a check for $100.00! Fees for the Fun Fly which include general admission ticket are $15 for single day flying and $25 for Weekend flying (best deal). Pre-registration suggested!!! We plan to have at least one buddy box system available so newcomers can experience the fun of flying.
